STRATA’S NONPROFIT, COOKING UP BETTER LIVES ANNOUNCES WINNER OF 2024 BETTER LIVES MAKEOVER: VILLAGE2VILLAGE
DENVER, CO July 2024 – Cooking Up Better Lives, Strata GPO’s nonprofit organization, has selected a recipient of their 2024 Better Lives Makeover: Hope Village in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Hope Village is a campus of Village2Village, a nonprofit that has been assisting children-at-risk in Uganda, Thailand, El Salvador, and Greece for 14+ years.
The vision and mission for the Hope Village location in Fort Smith is to establish the primary home base for further operations, training, support, and expansion of Village2Village. This location will serve as a model to be replicated and exported to other geographical locations and cultures.
“Through the generous support of Cooking Up Better Lives and collaboration with Strata’s dealer and vendor members, the Hope Village campus will encourage transformation and bring hope to children-at-risk in our community and on a global level,” stated Greg Williams of Markham Restaurant Supply.

Nominated by Strata dealer member, Greg Williams, of Markham Restaurant Supply, Village2Village aims to be operational by the end of 2024. The kitchen will be located in the multi-purpose building near the entrance of this 12-acre campus. Hope Village aims to serve 50-100 people per day, five days a week.
Markham Restaurant Supply, located in Fort Smith, Arkansas, will spearhead the project and provide design, storage, delivery and installation services for this project.
