Strata GPO Announces the Retirement of Gyle Walker After 20 Years of Dedicated Service
DENVER, CO June 2024 – Strata GPO announced the retirement of Gyle Walker after 20 remarkable years of dedicated service and 40 years in the industry.
Gyle Walker joined Strata GPO in 2003, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a passion for the industry. Gyle’s tenure at Strata GPO has been marked by unwavering commitment to our dealer members and vendor partners, as well as significant contributions to the growth and success of the organization.
“It has been an incredible journey working together with Gyle,” said Mike Jewett, CEO of Strata GPO. “His dedication to serving our members, combined with his genuine compassion and insight, have established a high benchmark. While retirement is bittersweet, we are also immensely grateful for all Gyle has done and wish him the very best in his journey.”

Gyle Walker remarked, “I am incredibly proud of what we, as a collective, have achieved together. Alyssa Auerbach, hired by Walker 14 years ago, writes, “As Gyle embarks on this exciting new chapter of life, I hope that it brings him as much joy and fulfillment as he has imparted to us.”
As Gyle Walker steps into retirement, Strata GPO will continue to build on the strong foundation he helped establish. Calvin Johnston assumes the role of Vice President of Business Development, Dealer Engagement and has been under Gyle’s mentorship since January 2023.
Strata GPO commemorates Gyle Walker’s retirement by naming him the inaugural Champion for of the Collective award winner at an Award’s ceremony in Nashville this April. The award inscription reads: celebrating an individual that has profoundly impacted their community and the industry.
