Mike Jewett, CEO
DENVER, CO April 2025 – Strata GPO announces the unexpected loss of Mike Jewett, CEO.
Mike assumed leadership of Strata GPO in August 2022, bringing over 25 years of industry expertise and a proven track record of effective leadership. Under his guidance, he introduced meaningful innovation, reshaping the industry through strategic and impactful disruption. His approach to success is rooted in a strong focus on people, processes, and industry-leading technology.
While Strata navigates this unexpected loss, they assure that operations will not be interrupted and your experience with Strata GPO will remain consistent. Andrew Meyer will step in as interim CEO until the next appropriate steps are determined.
“Meyer expressed his commitment to moving forward with “a heavy heart, determined to build on the momentum Mike had started and to carry his vision into the future.” He added, “Strata has always been a strong team, and as Mike taught us, we will continue to lead with servant hearts.””
Describing Mike’s impact, Meyer shared, “Mike was a servant leader whose transformative vision elevated both our company and each of us individually. His energy and warmth built not only a great team but also genuine connections with everyone he encountered—including many of you.”
As stated in a recent tribute, “Mike was a true Champion for the Collective and fully embodied the spirit of being “purple” -compassionate and courageous, an unwavering commitment to making the world a better place. He often said, “the best is yet to come”, and while he watches from above, we will continue to build upon his vision and legacy. The seeds he planted will continue to grow, flourish, and inspire us all. Thank you, Mike, for lighting the path and showing us the way.”
Mike was a devoted individual who valued faith, family, and hard work above all else. He guided those close to him with love, teaching the importance of kindness, integrity, and gratitude. A person of courage and dedication, he worked tirelessly to support and nurture his family and community. His exceptional leadership and selflessness left an enduring impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Always embodying the principles of servant leadership, he inspired and uplifted those around him. His legacy of faith, generosity, and unwavering commitment will forever be cherished. Mike was a loving husband to Jessica and an adoring father to two children, Dillon and Madalynn.
